Rambles in the Ghost Towns of West Virginia

In the fall of 2021 I travelled to West Virginia to do research for a book. I spent an entire day at New River Gorge National Park, exploring and studying the gorge and its human and natural histories. This short zine collects some of the pictures I took that day along with a couple of musings on the trip and on the region. This is just the tip of the iceberg. There's a lot more there to experience and discover, waiting in the empty coal fields of West Virginia.
